BNP Paribas has appointed Bruno Boussard as chief executive officer for its Taiwan branches.
Boussard will oversee the firm’s operations in Taiwan, including corporate and institutional banking (CIB), wealth management, asset management, securities and insurance businesses. He reports to Asia-Pacific CEO Paul Yang.
Boussard’s career with BNP Paribas spans over three decades, commencing in 1993. He has held key leadership roles in asset liability management treasury and capital markets across New York, Hong Kong and Paris.
He was most recently deputy head of group asset liability management treasury, where he led global treasury and CIB steering in Paris.
Prior to his tenure at BNP Paribas, he spent many years working in Shanghai and Hong Kong in the areas of international corporate banking and capital markets.
Boussard succeeds Manon Breuvart, who is moving back to Paris to assume the role of head of credit, BNP Paribas Wealth Management, reporting to Vincent Lecomte, CEO of BNP Paribas Wealth Management.
