India-based wealth and alternatives asset management group 360 ONE has launched its 360 ONE Global platform, which aims to develop a product and service proposition for offshore wealth and investment advisory to complement its existing platform focused on the Indian onshore market by leveraging the group’s connection with the global Indian diaspora offshore.
The group has hired industry veteran Vikram Malhotra as the CEO of 360 ONE Global. Malhotra brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having served as the global market head for South Asia and the Middle East at Bank of Singapore. With more than three decades of experience at various institutions, including Barclays, UBS and ABN AMRO, he has demonstrated his ability to build thriving businesses across diverse geographies, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and London.
The platform’s leadership team, led by Malhotra, comprises Pankaj Nagrath and Arunabh Banerjee, who have held leadership roles at Bank of Singapore and Barclays and will be stationed at key locations, such as Singapore and Dubai.
Nagrath was among the first to identify the Global India wealth opportunity and build a market-leading channel and business around it at Bank of Singapore. Banjerjee – an alumnus of IIM Lucknow – has worked for the last two decades in various global banks spanning multiple roles, including corporate banking, credit and private banking.
“By creating a comprehensive advisory capability for global wealth and investments, we’re reshaping the offshore landscape for Indian wealth managers,” says Karan Bhagat, CEO of 360 ONE. “Malhotra’s leadership, combined with his deep expertise in wealth management and financial markets, places 360 ONE at a unique position on the global stage.”
