The UN Principles for Responsible Investment ( PRI ), an international organization that works to promote the incorporation of environment, social and corporate governance ( ESG ) factors, has appointed Kazuma Osaki as the head of its Asia-Pacific policy.
Osaki, who has done an exemplary job, the organization says, working in this role on an interim basis in recent months, has proven to be a leader with a steady hand and deep expertise in the region. His permanent appointment will allow the organization, it notes, to move forward more decisively and effectively with its policy-related initiatives and goals in the region.
Osaki will continue to be based in Sydney, supported by PRI’s regional policy team in Asia-Pacific.
Consistent with PRI’s Responsible Investment Ecosystems regional policy model, Osaki will also continue to work closely with the global policy team, and regional policy teams in other regions.
